An international charity movement, Movember sees men growing moustaches to raise awareness of men’s health issues, such as mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer. Testicular cancer and prostate cancer are the most commonly diagnosed cancers in men aged between 15 and 34 in Ireland, with 94 men aged between 15 and 34 diagnosed with testicular cancer in 2020. One in 8 men are also diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime in Ireland. He added that he has unfortunately lost friends to suicide and has faced his own mental health challenges too.
